You can change the world
November 8, 2018, a presentation of the unique book of the famous Japanese thinker and philosopher Daisaku Ikeda, “You can change the world”, took place in NUUz. .
A delegation headed by Ambassador extraordinary Plenipotentiary of Japan Nobuaki Ito took part at this ceremony. Members of delegation are:
1. Director of the Department of International Relations of Soka Gakkai International, Mr. Hajime Mizushima
2. Head of the Russian Department of the Buddhist peacekeeping organization SGI Sachie Michigan
3. Editor-in-chief of the newspaper “ Seiko Shimbun” Kawasaki Ito.
Rector of NUU prof. Avazjon Marakhimov opened the ceremony. He noticed that friendly relations between Uzbek and Japan people are important. "We can talk a lot about the similarities between the Uzbek and Japanese people, their respect for traditions, diligence and dedication.
“I think, the publication of translation of this book is contributions to our peaceful future. This book is devoted to world without wars and violence, unity of fate on earth. I want to say thanks to translator of this book academic Tursunali Quziev and Editor Erkin A’zam.”
This book has been translated into eight languages. Translation into Uzbek is the ninth.
This meeting was held at a high spiritual level, with high spirits, with elements of national color. The exchanges of opinions between professors, teachers, students and guests were held very interesting.
